Indian Team: India are coming into this match on the back of a Indian Premier League T20 event, which finishes last week with Mumbai Indias were the champions while many Sri lankan players were also part of the ongoing event. India after the World Cup win have kind of suffered in the limited over cricket, and they will be looking to bounce back with another great performance in the Champions Trophy where on paper they will go into the event as one of the favourites but their form says otherwise.
Sri Lanka Team: on the other hand always find that extra gear in the big ICC events, they do perform to the best of their abilities and they are in the group where they will be facing England, Australia and New Zealand and should be favourites to make it to the next round which is a semifinals.
We have already discuss our predictions for the CHampions Trophy, but if we look at this Warm up match I have to say that both teams have an equal chance and they will take it as a match to try a few things and get used to the conditions where ball will be doing a bit. Both teams have good seamers who can swing the ball but Sri lanka are better in spin department while India have a very solid batting lineup with some of the best young batsmen around.
